Electronic Twist Tester is used determining the twist of various yarns.

General Troubleshooting:

1. If the right yarn gripper does not rotate and a buzzer alarming is heard when the START button is pressed during a test while the pointer of the Twist Tester is not at the zero position, and it does not start by giving an alarming sound when the START button is pressed again when the pointer is at the zero position, it indicates that the Hall cell below the pointer is not positioned within the induction area of magnate field. A corresponding adjustment should be made in such a way that the Hall sensor can be inducted by magnetic force to play its roll when the pointer is at the zero position.

2. If the Yarn Twist Tester deviates from its normal test condition or the system is halted during an operation, the RESET button can be pressed while checking if there is any strong interference source, such as a welding machine, existing in the vicinity of the instrument so as to take appropriate measures.

3. If significant deviations are found in test results, rejection can be made by referring to the function of the CLEAR button.

4. If the color of printout becomes light or no printout can be seen from the printer, please change color ribbon by referring to printer instructions.

5. If the elongation pointer varies abnormally during a test process, check the hanging line of tension weight to see if it is inserted in the slot of tension disk. If not, reset it manually.
