Prepare the sample of Crumple Flex Tester

1. As far as possible, place the sample in an environment with a temperature of (23±2)℃ for at least 3 hours.

2. Take out the controlled test sample, use a knife mold (220*190mm) to plant at least 4 test pieces from the effective width fabric, and pay attention to taking the average number of test samples in the radial and transverse directions when sampling.

3. Suture each sample to a length of 190mm and an inner diameter of 64mm. (The broken line in the picture below)

Operation steps of ISO 7854 Flex Tester

1. Take out the prepared test piece, turn on the power switch, and jog the instrument fixture to the rightmost stroke position when installing the left test fixture group.

2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the clamp and install the sample, and set the stitched cylindrical sample on the disc, lock one end of the sample, and then fix the other end.

3. After installing the test sample, preset the number of tests for 20 times, and start the instrument to observe whether the test operation is locked.

4. After confirming that the installation of the sample is completed, set the test flexion times and start the test.

5. During the test, the damage and breaking point of the sample can be observed at a predetermined number of times until the set number of cycles is completed.
