1 Sample Preparation
Sample and standard friction white cloth should be in such environment of
constant temperature and humidity to humidify.
When the sample has many kinds of colors, should make all colors rubbed.
If the size of a variety of colors is large enough , should be sampled
Respectively.
Cutting sample, do dry friction and wet friction respectively, should be
ensured to rub to all colors.
If the positive and negative of specimen is made up of different material ,
colors. So the both positive and negative need to do friction colo fastness test.
Doing dry and wet fastness of friction should not be repeated in the same part in the specimen.
2 Dry Friction
Flatly put sample on the friction apparatus placing sandpaper, make the length of the specimen is in line with the direction of the moning track of the equipment, and fix sample on the pressuring plate, the folder should be flat.
Standard friction small white cloth fix on the friction head, clamp it tightly with spring clamp, lightly place friction head on the specimen.
Ensure the specimen without sliding or wrinking when rubs
Place friction head on the specimen, connect to he power, open the POWER button, set the times of testing.
Press START button to begin the test, when the tests reaches the setting value, the instrument automatically stops.
Remove the standard white cotton cloth , going to rate contrasting to color cards.
3 Wet Friction
Completely soak standard friction small white cloth in distilled water.
After removing, clamp in the filter paper to extrude in order to have a certain degree of water content.
The remaining steps is same as the dry friction test.
