In the field of material testing, testing instruments play a vital role in the judgment of test results. For example, in material resilience testing, the compression rebound tester is a product that provides reliable basis for testing the resilience performance of test materials.

The foam compression resilience tester is used to test the resilience performance of rubber products after withstanding a certain period of time and pressure. Take the standard sample, place it flat on the test plate, sandwich it between two plates, take it out after the specified time, release the test piece and cool it, measure the final center thickness of the test piece, and substitute it into the formula to calculate its compression rebound rate . The rebound performance of the product is judged by measuring the rebound rate.

Compression rebound testers can be used in a variety of industries, including automotive, footwear, athletic equipment and padding materials.

The test steps of the compression rebound tester are as follows:

1. Use a cursor caliper or thickness meter to measure the thickness at the center of the sample, and record this thickness as the original thickness, accurate to 0.01 mm.

2. Place the three samples symmetrically and flatly on the sample tray in a stacked shape, and place them between the two plates of the sample tray. The characters on the sample trays must be staggered. A maximum of eight sample trays can be placed at the same time. Measure nine groups of samples on the instrument.

3. Check whether the eight sample trays are arranged neatly.

4. Turn the handle clockwise to pressurize to the required dial indicator scale value and fix it.

Foaming materials are pressurized to 140 +4kgf (0.69+0.02Mpa); non-foaming materials are pressurized to 561 +10kgf (11.1+0.2Mpa).

5. Check the scale after every hour and press it back to the correct scale.

6. After the test time is reached, release the pressure and take out the sample.

7. After the samples are placed for 1 hour, measure the center positions of the three samples and record the thickness of the samples.

The compression rebound tester is a versatile and indispensable instrument for evaluating the rebound rate of materials. Its user-friendly features, precise measurement capabilities and automated testing processes make it an excellent tool for quality control, material selection and R&D work.
