1. The sample is parked in the laboratory environment for more than 8 hours.

2. Cut a piece of specimen on the flat part of the sample. If it is an insole, it should be cut to the transfer site. Samples should be representative.

3. Remove the load and load shaft from the Martindale Abrasion and Pilling Tester.

4. Remove the top plate and test fixture.

5. Installation of sample: loosen the fixing ring on the test fixture, pick up the sample and press the sample into the base of the test fixture, and place a sample gasket between the sample and the test fixture base, and then The sample is placed on the sample pad and fixed with a fixing ring.

6. Installation of wool felt and friction cloth: loosen the fixing screws and fixing ring, place the wool felt on the base and then put on the friction cloth, press the 2.5KG pressure plate in the middle of the friction cloth, and put back the fixing ring and locking the fixing screws.

7. Replace the top plate and pass the load shaft (12KPA) through the round hole of the top plate.

8. Face down the test fixture containing the sample, place it on the base fixture, and adjust the circular groove of the test fixture to the load shaft so that the load shaft is inserted into the circular groove of the test fixture.

9. Set the test times according the Standard, start the switch, start the test, stop automatically after reaching the set number of times.
